“A sailing boat is not your town square, where if you have an argument you can just get up and leave,” explains Maria Vittoria Pericu. “On a boat you are forced to stay and try to solve the conflict.” She is the coordinator of Clandestine Integration, a project aimed at fostering cross-cultural dialogue between Africa and Europe. “Our idea is simple.
